We have wellbeing at our heart

#ANNEX18 the first open space and (un)conference for UK Event Professionals taking place on Thursday 19th July at The Vox Conference Centre Birmingham will be the first educational and industry event to put wellbeing truly at the heart of the activity on the day.

With dedicated sessions and educational track, wellbeing lounge and chill out zone, and an energiser and cool down at the event opening and closing address, in addition to the overall event programme having an open space and learning theme with flexibility of participation and movement that puts the overall mental and physical health of the attendees at the heart of the production of the show.

EventWell Managing Director and #ANNEX18 Event Producer Helen Moon quoted “with our research finding that 1 in 3 event professional will suffer from a period or episode of mental ill health at some point in the careers and lives, and only placing their overall wellbeing at 6 out of 10, it’s now more important than ever to place the matter and benefits of wellbeing at the heart of events that are produced for the education of professionals in our industry and behind the creative process of their overall experience.”

The wellbeing sessions will cover the following discussion topics all decided by attendees joining the event:

10:30am – Getting your delegates active and engaged throughout your event

12:00pm – Time Management; How to boost your productivity

1:30pm – Eat, Sleep, Love; What does it take to be a productive event professional and a healthy one

3:00pm – Mental Health First Aiders; What is the role and what do they do?

Will you be there and which are the above sessions will you choose to attend?
